Hi, I’m Anne dwyer.
I am a highly qualified, European-trained piano and violin teacher with over 30 years of experience.
Born and raised in Dublin, Ireland I moved to New York in the early 90s and have been living in the Northern Westchester area for over 20 years teaching music.
I worked as the music teacher in St. Columbanus School from 2007 until 2019, and at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton from 2013 until its closure in 2020. I have also been the organist at the Church of the Assumption in Peekskill, New York since 2018 and continue to play there every Sunday morning. I also sing in a choir called the Taghkanic Chorale.
I am a Licentiate of Trinity College London and an Associate of the Royal Irish Academy of Music. I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from University College Dublin, double majoring in Music and German. I lived in Munich for some time in my 20s before eventually deciding to move to the US, where I raised my 3 daughters right here in Westchester County.
